Our School History
The edifice of St. Stephen’s School stands as a testimonial to the awe-inspiring vision of a man and his courage to see it realized. With the efforts of Mr. Harold Carver and some other reputed educationists, the dream of the school began to take shape in 1982 from three bungalows that bring delightful memories to all those who have had the opportunity of studying there.
It is a deserving transition that we see today – a magnificent building housing immense potential and a staff dedicated to seeing it realized. There has always been great emphasis on the holistic education of a student, a fact that perhaps results in Stephenians finding great success so easily within their grasp.
Long after walking out of its portals, St. Stephen’s motto of ‘Sempur Sursum’ rings true in every endeavour that a Stephenian undertakes, and is another great testament to the school’s greatness and more so, to the man who built it.
